Lakehills Women Active For Christ (LWAC); Established in 1994, LWAC is a missions arm of the church in which women fulfill the Great Commission in their home, the church, communities, and around the world. Throughout the year, the ladies are encouraged to support missions and bring the idea of missions work to the forefront of our church congregation. In addition to prayer support, efforts are made, through a variety of activities and fundraisers, to raise money for the purpose of financially supporting missions and missionaries who are on the frontlines.
Another important element of Lakehills Women Active for Christ is the personal fellowship among the women in the group. Our monthly meetings provide women an opportunity to get together, share blessing and burdens, and pray with each other, regardless of their age or stage in life. The devotions and Bible studies cover topics which are relevant to women, and apply to our lives in a practical way.
